About the Department
The Department of TAMIL PART-1(TAMIL) was established in 1994.In 2015 the Department was Upgraded as Tamil Department.Regular Competitions and Workshop are being conducted in the Department to Enhance their skills in Different area of Tamil. The Department offers Under Graduate Course in Tamil.Students are Encouraged to Participate in Various activities like Quiz,Sports,NSS,NCC,YRC and Cultural Activities.








To develop the ability of students to encourage writing prose, poem, drama, and short-stories.
To train the students to become a writer, journalist, orator, dramatist, poet and actor
